Tasmania

An island packed with adventure, flavour and charm

Wild, delicious and wonderfully unique

Australia’s captivating island state of Tasmania is a place where nature and culture collide beautifully. Best known for its wild landscapes, abundant wildlife (hello, Tassie devil!), and fascinating history, Tassie is also a foodie’s paradise. Picture yourself sampling local wines, sweet strawberries fresh from the farm, delicious cheeses and mouth-watering seafood from friendly artisan producers or bustling markets.

Tasmania’s compact size, paired with easy roads and stunning scenery, makes it perfect for a self-drive adventure. Give yourself at least a week to wander through towering forests, explore pristine beaches, delve into historic sites and marvel at majestic mountain scenery. Fancy something more adventurous? Paddle your way through secluded bays by kayak, tackle exhilarating white-water rafting, or lace up your boots and trek through spectacular wilderness trails.

Looking to mix it up? Glide down tranquil rivers on relaxing cruises, enjoy the thrill of guided 4WD tours, or even take to the skies in a helicopter for views you’ll never forget. And don’t miss Hobart’s iconic Mona, a world-class museum that’s put Tasmania firmly on the global art map.

For a long time, I've told people I have the best job in the world and I still stand by that.

What could be better than turning peoples dreams into reality? I never know what the day will bring and isn't variety the spice of life?

My travel journey started a bit later in my life, so I haven't been everywhere YET, but I am having a damn good crack at it, gathering local knowledge along the way.

I am so excited to be back working and a part of the House of Travel family after some time away from the industry whilst my children were young.

Being a friendly and bubbly person I appreciate spending time with my clients building their dream holidays, listening and paying attention to their needs to create special memories.

I feel so lucky to be a part of this wonderful travel industry and find that my passion to help others shows when working in my happy place.

I have travelled through Europe, Vietnam and Cambodia as well as parts of Eastern Canada.  I have cruised Alaska which I absolutely loved and have had many trips to different parts of Australia, Asia and South Africa.

My favourite country would have to be Cambodia, where I thoroughly enjoyed meeting the locals, travelling this beautiful country, and experiencing the local food. Waking up at 5am to have a cup of tea whilst watching the sun rising over Angkor Wat as the local monks walked past.  It was such a magical moment and one that will be engraved in my mind forever.

I can’t wait to meet with you to discuss your individual travel enquiries.
