Arrive in Maun and meet your fellow travellers at the group hotel. This evening enjoy dinner at a local restaurant (own expense) and settle into your lodge. Overnight at Sedia Hotel, set in tranquil gardens with a pool and bar.

We drive around the Okavango through small villages, skirting the floodplain before entering the Delta Panhandle. For two nights your lodge overlooks a lagoon, the perfect base to explore this extraordinary wetland paradise of hippo, elephants, and abundant birdlife. Enjoy a mokoro excursion with local polers and a sunset motorboat cruise, with optional scenic flights available.

Moremi Game Reserve and its surrounding wilderness offer some of Africa’s best wildlife viewing. Spend time on open vehicle game drives spotting elephant, buffalo, lion, hippo and many other species along the Mababe River and in Moremi Reserve itself. At night, stay in an exclusive tented bush camp in Mababe Private Concession bordering Moremi with ensuite facilities.

Travel into the famed Savuti region of Chobe National Park, renowned for its predator sightings and dramatic landscapes. Game drives take us across open plains and along the Savuti Channel, where lions, hyenas and leopards are frequently seen. Stay in Sunway’s luxury mobile tented camp with large meru-style tents with camp beds and ensuite bathrooms.

Continue north to Kasane and the Chobe River for two nights at a comfortable lodge. Explore the park on a morning game drive in search of elephants and big cats, then relax on an afternoon river cruise with spectacular wildlife viewing. This is one of the best places in Africa to photograph elephants, hippo, crocodiles and fish eagles at sunset.

Cross the border into Zimbabwe and visit the mighty Victoria Falls, one of the natural wonders of the world. A guided walking tour reveals the power and history of the “Smoke that Thunders” and the rainforest that surrounds it. Overnight at Phezulu Guest Lodge, with free time to relax or explore the town.

Your safari ends after breakfast at the lodge. Additional post-tour nights can be added. Transfer arrangements can be made according to your onward travel plans.
