Michelin magic without the Michelin bill

Yes, really. You’ll now find menus designed by world-renowned Michelin-starred chefs on many cruise ships.

Disney Cruise Line’s adults-only restaurant Enchanté (on Disney Wish and Disney Treasure) features an elegant French-inspired menu from Arnaud Lallement—who just happens to have three Michelin stars.

Over on Crystal Cruises, their Italian restaurant Osteria d’Ovidio was created with the help of culinary legends the Alajmo brothers. Massimiliano is the youngest chef in history to earn three Michelin stars, and Raffaele co-owns their celebrated eateries. Crystal also brings Japanese-Peruvian flair to the sea at Umi Uma, by the one and only Master Chef Nobu Matsuhisa.

Princess Cruises has teamed up with Emmanuel Renaut, the three-starred French chef behind Flocons de Sel, to bring Bistro Sur La Mer to a handful of ships, including Majestic Princess, Sky Princess, Enchanted Princess and Discovery Princess.

Windstar + the James Beard Foundation = serious foodie heaven

Windstar Cruises is the official cruise line of the James Beard Foundation, and that means serious culinary cred. Their main dining room, Amphora, showcases dishes dreamed up by an all-star roster of guest chefs. On themed cruises, you’ll find everything from onboard cooking demos to exclusive market tours and menus curated by some of the biggest names in the business.

Silversea’s S.A.L.T. – taste the world as you go
