Tell me about your journey, how did you get to be a Hottie?

My mother, stepdad, and godmother have been part of the House of Travel family and always spoke so highly of the team and the incredible work environment. So, when it came time for my university co-op, choosing House of Travel felt like a natural fit. Now that I'm here, I see exactly why they loved it so much.

Take us behind the scenes - what does a day in your life look like?

A typical day involves supporting our People & Culture Advisors with key documentation and processes. I have the privilege of working alongside a team of brilliant, driven women in a supportive and welcoming environment, and I get to help build a positive and people first culture every day.

What advice would you give someone just starting their career or is interested in your role?

Stay open to learning, be patient with yourself, and embrace every opportunity to grow. The hotties will support you every step of the way, so lean on them when you need to, and always seek out ways to improve.

How would you explain to your friends and family what working here is like?

It’s an open, supportive, and welcoming environment where everyone is encouraged to bring their best and most authentic self. It’s genuinely a place where you feel valued and motivated to grow.

What are you looking forward to currently, in your role and personally?

Fresh out of university, I’m motivated to make the most of every opportunity to learn and grow. I’m eager to gain new skills, take on challenges, and step out of comfort zone, embracing whatever comes my way, both professionally and personally. It’s an exciting time of growth, and I’m grateful to be in an environment that encourages and supports that journey.
