Take in the stunning mountainous views that the Scenic Rim is renowned for while learning from your experienced guides as they share their knowledge of the natural world around you. On day one you can expect to warm the heart with approx. 500m of elevation gain. The trails vary from Grade 3 and Grade 5 depending on the specific route. The terrain is rocky and uneven requiring good balance and stability. Your aerobic fitness and strong legs will help you to navigate the trail with confidence.

Morning tea and lunch will be enjoyed on the trail before arriving at camp at approximately 4pm. This arrival time varies depending on the group and conditions so should be used as an indicative guide.

After a well-earned shower spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing in your glamping style tent or enjoy a soak in the outdoor hot tub come plunge pool in the hotter months. A beautiful spot for sunset.

Dinner will be served in the main lodge at 6pm. Enjoy some fireside chatting after dinner or head outside and marvel at the stars if the night is clear.

Stay in glamping style safari tents with a view of the mountains

If the weather is clear, we highly recommend getting up early and watching the sunrise over the mountains. Breakfast will be served at 7am before walking out at 8am.

Walking out of camp we cross through the farm fields before descending into the riparian zone following creek lines through unique habitat where fauna and flora is abundant. Today’s walk is spent exploring the private nature refuge where you will have the entire trail to yourselves. Terrain is varied including connecting farm roads, single track trails and traversing natural water ways which are rocky and require good balance.

Morning tea and lunch will be enjoyed on trail with the opportunity for a swim if conditions permit.

Afternoon tea will be enjoyed at camp midafternoon allowing you to relax and enjoy Spicers Canopy.

Dinner will be at 6pm with tales from the days adventure being shared around the table.
